Danceable Returns to Cabana Pool Bar for its Seventh Year
The free, all-inclusive dance party from Variety-the Children’s Charity of Ontario
and Substance Cares will take place on June 25th.
Variety Ontario and Substance Cares are thrilled to announce the annual all-inclusive dance party, DanceAble will be returning to Cabana Pool Bar once again on Tuesday, June 25th, marking the event’s seventh year.
Launched in 2017, DanceAble is a free event open to ages 10 and above, created specifically for those with varying ability levels to enjoy an evening of music, dancing and celebration along Toronto’s waterfront within a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment – fun for the whole family!
“We are thrilled to host DanceAble at Cabana for the seventh year in a row,” said Karen Stintz, President and CEO of Variety Ontario. “This annual event has become a joyful celebration of inclusivity, diversity, and community, and I’m excited that this year’s program will feature new experiences and performances that will make it our biggest and most exciting DanceAble yet. I can’t wait to welcome both longtime attendees and new guests to join us for this memorable occasion.”
Hosted at Cabana Pool Bar, the popular day life club from INK Entertainment Group, guests dance the night away to top 40 music from DJ’s Wickham, Steph Honey and DVS.
Bust a Move Dance (BAMD), an industry leader in dance for children, teens, and adults with disabilities will bring the energy and fun through inclusive, interactive choreography that all participants can enjoy. Pizza Nova is also returning to serve up delicious slices.
We are excited to welcome back Lux Carnival, who will be adding to this year’s theme “Northern Lights”. This immersive experience takes inspiration from the rhythm and vibrant colors of the Aurora Borealis, highlighting Caribbean heritage and indigenous cultural traditions. This exciting addition expands the event’s inclusive representation, recognizing and honoring a wider community through the lens of the Northern Lights display.
“Lux Carnival has been a proud supporter of local charities working with kids and young adults with disabilities, and we are honored to once again partner with Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ontario and The Substance Group for their annual DanceAble celebration,” said Sharon Niles, CEO and Co-Founder of Lux Carnival. “This event perfectly aligns with our core mission of helping those with disabilities build skills, confidence, and the opportunity to be active, contributing members of the community.
