Park Hyatt Toronto

A Legend Reborn: Park Hyatt Toronto’s Stunning Transformation
For decades, the Park Hyatt Toronto has been a definitive symbol of discreet luxury and sophistication in the city. But it’s not resting on its laurels. After an extensive, highly anticipated redesign and restoration, the hotel officially reopened in September 2021, setting an even higher standard.
A Design That Celebrates Canada
The entire aesthetic now focuses on celebrating the country’s artistic and natural heritage. The Park Hyatt partnered with renowned designer Alessandro Munge of Toronto-based Studio Munge to overhaul the space. The result is 219 luxurious rooms, including 40 suites, that offer a refreshingly contemporary and personalized experience.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the new entrance and lobby. The textures and tones are deliberately Canadian-inspired, subtly evoking the rugged natural landscape made famous by the Group of Seven painters. This stunning backdrop is highlighted by carefully curated tapestries and featured artwork from both local and Indigenous Canadian artists, giving the arrival a warm, intimate feeling usually reserved for the best boutique hotels.
Elevated Dining and an Iconic View
The reopening brought with it new food and drink experiences that are already local favourites.
- Joni Restaurant offers relaxed yet elevated dining, a fantastic weekend brunch, and a sophisticated afternoon tea experience.
- The hotel’s legendary rooftop bar, Writers Room, is back. With its unparalleled view of the city, it’s guaranteed to remain one of Toronto’s most exclusive hidden gems for a memorable night out.
