Ne-Yo & Akon: Nights Like This Tour – The Ultimate Throwback Party at RBC Amphitheatre
Toronto, get ready to party like it’s 2006.
On Friday, July 31, 2026, the waterfront will transform into the city’s biggest outdoor dance floor. R&B gentleman Ne-Yo and global hitmaker Akon are joining forces for the "Nights Like This Tour," a co-headlining spectacle coming to the newly renamed RBC Amphitheatre (formerly Budweiser Stage).
This isn’t your typical "opener and headliner" setup. In a rare tour format, Ne-Yo and Akon will share the stage for a dynamic, back-and-forth set. Expect a non-stop stream of era-defining hits, moving seamlessly from smooth mid-tempo jams to high-energy club anthems.
A Hit-Filled Setlist
Between these two legends, the catalog of hits is staggering. Fans can expect a "nostalgia rush" featuring:
-
Ne-Yo: "So Sick," "Miss Independent," "Closer," and "Because of You."
-
Akon: "Smack That," "Lonely," "Right Now (Na Na Na)," and "Don't Matter."
The Venue: RBC Amphitheatre
Set against the backdrop of Lake Ontario, the RBC Amphitheatre offers the perfect summer vibe. Whether you’re in the 200-level seats or dancing on the lawn, the "Nights Like This Tour" is designed to feel like a massive celebration of the music that soundtracked a generation.
