🎟️ Talk of Toronto – Organizer Ticket Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Talk of Toronto. By registering your event on our platform, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These guidelines ensure clarity for how ticket sales, payouts, and refunds are managed. Please review carefully before submitting your event.

1. Payment Processing

  • - Talk of Toronto Payment Processing is the default method for handling online ticket sales.

  • - Talk of Toronto accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, Visa-Debit, & Interac

  • - You can choose whether to absorb ticketing fees yourself or pass them on to attendees. This can be changed at any time.

2. Processing Fees

  • - A processing fee is applied to each ticket sold through Talk of Toronto.

  • - These fees are automatically deducted from your payout before funds are released.

  • - Important: Processing fees are non-refundable, even if a ticket is refunded. Only the ticket price (excluding fees) will be returned to the attendee.

3. Payouts

  • - Schedule: Payouts begin processing 4–5 days after your event ends.

  • - Email Money Transfer or Direct Deposit is the fastest way to receive your funds.

  • - Timeline:

    • Canadian and U.S. bank accounts: typically within 5 business days after payout is initiated.

    • International bank accounts: may take up to 7 business days, depending on your bank.

  • - Payouts are always issued in the currency collected at the time of ticket sales.

4. Refunds

  • - You may issue refunds to attendees up to 3 days after your event ends.

  • - Refunds are processed directly through Talk of Toronto Payment Processing.

  • - Processing fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  • - Once the refund window closes, Talk of Toronto will initiate your payout on the 4th day (or 5th in rare cases) and is no longer responsible for refund fulfillment.

5. Order Finality

  • - Unless you publish a specific refund policy, all ticket sales are considered final.

  • - By listing your event, you agree that attendees will be bound by the refund policy you set.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • - As the event organizer, you are responsible for resolving attendee disputes and chargebacks.

  • - Any chargeback costs may be deducted from your future payouts. If insufficient funds are available, you may be invoiced for the balance.

7. Amendments

Talk of Toronto reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. By continuing to host events with us, you agree to the most recent version of these terms.
