The moment food lovers across the city have been waiting for has arrived. The fourth edition of the Toronto Michelin Guide has been officially unveiled, and it’s a feast for the senses, celebrating the best of the best in the culinary world. This year’s guide not only honours returning champions but also welcomes a host of exciting new additions, further solidifying Toronto’s status as a global food destination.
The 2025 guide expands its reach for the second consecutive year, recognizing the exceptional talent found in southern Ontario. This framework acts as an essential roadmap for both tourists and locals looking to explore the region’s diverse and high-quality food scene. The rankings, as always, are based on the uniqueness, flavour, and execution of the cuisine, identifying “establishments serving exceptional cuisine that’s rich in flavour, remarkably executed and infused with the personality of a talented chef.”
Beyond the coveted stars, the guide also includes the Bib Gourmand distinction for restaurants offering high-quality food at a great value, and the Green Star, which highlights sustainable establishments. A new set of recommended restaurants has also been added, offering a broader look at the city’s standout eateries.
