About The Opera House

The Opera House is one of Toronto’s long-running live music rooms, occupying a historic theatre building on Queen Street East in Riverside. Originally developed as an early-20th-century performance space, the venue now operates primarily as a standing general-admission concert hall with tiered main-floor and balcony viewing. Its scale makes it a favourite for touring rock, alternative, metal, hip-hop and other live acts that benefit from a close, energetic crowd.

02

Why Visit

The Opera House is ideal when you want the intensity of a live Toronto concert without the distance of a large arena, with historic theatre character and strong sightlines from its tiered floor and balcony.
