Shamier Anderson’s Call Me Tim is heading to TIFF 2026 as part of the festival’s official selection, with its public world premiere scheduled for September 15 in Toronto.
The film is described as a mockumentary “following the blackest redneck in the north.” That striking premise gives the short an immediate comic identity, while the TIFF booking puts Anderson’s project in front of Toronto audiences during the festival.
When and where to see Call Me Tim
The public world-premiere screening is set for Tuesday, September 15, at 2:15 p.m. in Scotiabank 6. A second public screening follows on Saturday, September 19, at 10 a.m. in Scotiabank 11.
The TIFF schedule also lists a Press & Market screening on September 15 at 8:55 a.m. in Scotiabank 8. The announcement promoting the film identifies the 2:15 p.m. public screening as the world premiere.
Tickets are on sale for the TIFF screening
Public tickets are officially on sale. The screening is listed under TIFF’s Short Cuts 2026 Programme 06, which may help attendees find it within the festival schedule.
